Larry Schwimmer is an internationally known business consultant and workshop leader who has advised Fortune 500 executives, companies, startups, and individuals for the last thirty years.

Workshop Leader

As a workshop leader, he has presented his workshops, seminars and webinars before 25,000 business and professional people and inside major corporations such as Bank of America, IBM and Xerox. He has also taught his leadership and sales workshops at Northwestern University and Golden Gate University. He currently presents his workshops through the San Francisco SBA.

Business Consultant

He has consulted with 6,200 CEOs and C-level executives of small and middle market companies in 30 different industries, selling them $115 million in consulting services. In addition, as a mergers and acquisitions expert, he has been involved in the sale of 145 companies from startups to companies with $500 million in revenues.

Author & Expert

He has also authored two best-selling books, "How To Ask for a Raise Without Getting Fired” and “Winning Your Next Promotion in One Year (Or Less)!” both published by Harper Collins. As a respected business consultant he has appeared on NBC’s TODAY Show, and has produced, written and hosted his own television program on PBS entitled Winning FACE TO FACE – The Art of Resolving Conflicts in the Workplace (distributed and shown on Public Television).

Past Positions

His past work experiences include sales and marketing executive positions with such leading multi-national companies as Gillette Co., Nabisco, and the financial services divisions of Smith-Barney/CitiGroup, and McGladrey/H&R Block.

Education

He received his Bachelors in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, where he also did his M.B.A. graduate studies. Schwimmer also holds his National Association of Security Dealers licenses, Series 7/63, and a Real Estate License.

Larry currently resides in San Francisco, California.
